Shadowbox Charitable trust is a non-profit organization that works to support and empower children & women in Dharavi and other areas throughout Mumbai. We have our training centers located in Sion pipeline road, GTB Nagar and Dharavi where we train more than 340 kids. The team members are committed to help the needy with love and selfless service. Our effort is to improve the living condition of the poor, underprivileged families and to aid in the betterment of the life of their kids. Dharavi located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, is considered to be one of Asia’s largest slums where the majority of the people live below the poverty line. The people of Dharavi face many issues such as shortage of basic necessities, unemployment, hunger and health problems. Despite consistent efforts by various organizations, these people still lack the basic needs in life. Shadowbox charitable trust makes a sincere effort to make a positive impact in their lives. Our work aims to break the vicious cycle of poverty and social isolation and to restore hope for a better future. In April 2020, we started our orphanage center for 50 kids who lost their parents during covid pandemic. We provide them shelter, food and support educational funds for these kids. We also take regular classes and training so they could explore more and excel in their future.
